realised i have taken down sth weird during lecture long ago
duno it;s me or is tt really the ans from the ppt
Haemophilia
....it is a severe condition in which the blood of the individual takes an adnormally long time to clot....as a result, profuse and prolonged bleeding occurs even from minor knocks and wounds....
....
summary:
-sex-linked recessive characteristic are more frequent in males. why?
ans:
1.this is because males need only one copy of the defective allele to suffer from haemophilia whereas females require two copies of the defective allele to be a sufferer
2.moreover, female haemophiliacs normally die of bleeding when they reach puberty
ok,it's true la...but...it's just.. crude?
alright...well...4 more chapts to go
doubt i'll finish em with my turtle speed of 3-4h per chapt
i still have to eat n bath n everything...
