soon.

some interesting 'lessons' learnt from an email from fren.
just for laughs

Lesson 1:

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings.

The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs.

When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbour.

Before she says a word, Bob says, 'I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.'

After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob, after a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 and leaves.

The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs.

When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, 'Who was that?'

'It was Bob the next door neighbour,' she replies.

'Great,' the husband says, 'did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?'

Moral of the story:

If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

Lesson 2:

A priest offered a Nun a lift.

She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg.

The priest nearly had an accident.

After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg.

The nun said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'

The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again.
The nun once again said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'

The priest apologized 'Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.'

Arriving at the convent, the nun sighed heavily and went on her way.

On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, 'Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.'

Moral of the story:

If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

Lesson 3:

A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp.

They rub it and a Genie comes out.
The Genie says, 'I'll give each of you just one wish.'
'Me first! Me first!' says the admin clerk. 'I want to be in the Bahamas , driving a speedboat, without a care in the world.'
Puff! She's gone.

'Me next! Me next!' says the sales rep. 'I want to be in Hawaii , relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life.'

Puff! He's gone.

'OK, you're up,' the Genie says to the manager.
The manager says, 'I want those two back in the office after lunch.'

Moral of the story:

Always let your boss have the first say.

Lesson 4

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.

A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing?'
The eagle answered: 'Sure, why not.'

So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story:

To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson 5

A turkey was chatting with a bull.

'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree' sighed the turkey, 'but I haven't got the energy.'
'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. They're packed with nutrients.'

The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.

The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.

Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.

He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Moral of the story:

Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there..

Lesson 6

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.

While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.

As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.

The dung was actually thawing him out!

He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.
A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.

Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:

(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.

(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your
friend.

(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep
your mouth shut!

today marks the end of cdans 08

i think nj shooting club rocks
winners or not, everyone's trying so hard to bring about nj's victory today

a total of 20 medals won today (correct me if im wrong)
and 2 challenge trophies with us..heh heh
not tt we won 2 but both are for the same event.

nice photo taken, but it's rather obvious that we are kinda forcing our smiles.

hope it's a lesson for both of them;
for him, to control his temper though the anger's out of a good cause
for him, to watch his words though they are not meant to be taken seriously

but apparently only one learnt his lesson

damm ego, it sucks

now the world is split to many ends
a world with only one person; a world with people standing strong; a world with biasness to one end; a world with biasness towards the other end

where would u choose to go, to stand upon?

so complex-
when the world, to me, was still a complete piece before im here,
in nj.

back from nanjing on wed nite
skipped a day on thurs but trained in the afternoon at cdans.

bg says: welcome back to njc
i say: yea.. to reality.

been training on thurs and friday from htns intersch
which means i have been training everyday since last wednesday

nanjing's nice,
good food (though very oily)
nice hotel (have free internet service which makes me regret badly for not bringing a laptop there)
nice psp game (dj max! im super addicted to that press-to-the-rhythm game)
lots of dai di and bridge
super cold weather
staying at ulu part whereby cars are actually not so common to be seen
but still very dusty

comp shot a 366
not so bad, as compared to 351 at sydney
but my ranking's damm bad
though team 3rd still (cos only 3 teams -.-)

visited some nice places of interests

that's me and rachel on top of jiu3 chen2 ta3
nice view all are trees around and the wind is bloody cold

shot htns intersch.
371
team first :D
final 10 tmr
duno whether i'll be overtaken again
lol

it's only a sentence of her msn nick, and it just makes me feel so bad.
why am i always so insensitive to other people's feelings?
why can't i even sense that one's feeling down, and just go on like nothing's wrong?
when i see people giving comfort to others
i'll be like, why didn't i do so?
why am i so stupid not to realise that he/she needs it?
sorry sam and yb and mark.

so long..n i dunno what to blog Xl

first thing first...me am leaving for china (somewhere that john had bad memories in..haha)
for 5 days.
off on fri morning at like 7+am and back on tues at 7+pm
im taking SQ this time round...whee..!
lol..ok im kinda deprived you see.

had been busy with trainings, bonding camp and tests (bio-s)
trainings were bad on thurs and fri
especially friday when i was stressed by the going back to nj for bonding camp and my forgetting to bring the spex form which is supposedly due on friday evening
yea...and of course the electronic targets will not fail to bring additional pressure to me even though i am only training
lol.
monday's training's ok..getting more and more used to the targets, able to like feel the 'pathway' the pellet goes into the detector which leads to a score appearing on the screen
and training with the screen switched off in the beginning helps to allow me to focus mainly on my actions :)
but shots are still not consistent..
apparently this nanjing comp is like of high importance, more impt than seasa, ive heard
well...just gonna curb my fear facing the targets, which i think i can :D

bonding camp's fun..
though i missed like half of the fun due to my going home every night and my bio spa
(spa is not shuang k...sighs)
thx the organisers for organising such an amazing bonding camp!
seeing them have to meet up together at most of the time throughout the camp just to ensure the camp goes well touched me...
and ur efforts are not down to the drain
i heard nite walk was great...and the activities overall are really fun..
the war games...good thing everyone are enthu and got engaged..
most funny part is still gen's dumb attempt to attack junyang Outside the boys' toilet when the guys are In the toilet filling up many pails....lol..
and the skits are damm bloody funny...haha oops sounds abit crude..

unhappy things shant be mentioned here.
right daxiang? ;)
really sorry man... i noob ma.
lol

and i always thought guys like to be given a chance to explain themselves when they are having a row...

bio spa on sat and bio paper3 tests yesterday (tuesday)
spa's just ok (scully say too much teachers mite kill me)
paper3 test is something that i must admit if i study properly i will be able to score well
cuz the only questions that i left blank are those questions which requires regurgitated answers (which i unfortunately can't :(

went to cdans to watch b girls train
not bad girls, got improvement :))
perhaps it's a good thing that i'll not be down on sat to watch them shoot cuz i got a feeling my presence gives them pressure..haha..
took mrt home with fiona and feli
damm spas ar...both of them...lol :)
and on the way waking towards the mrt, im kinda glad that he can finally speak to me normally like how he does to his other frens
woah.

it's like 2.20am now
gonna slp through all the council speeches and stuffs i guess
or i'll just lose focus during training

looking forward...to yet another chance to escape from my hectic life for just 5 days
