earned an extra silver medal compared to last year's ntuis

i dun like to take indv medals
cuz i feel dam lonely going up on my own
lol

trained after the prize-giving ceremony
[not tt im so 'on'..but coach wans me to..lol]
somehow the grouping suddenly became generally smaller
weird..

dinner with amanda, jodie, jose and abigail
talked alot bout shooting, motivation, competition and mental stuffs
i seriously felt so much motivated bout shooting when im with apg
hope that im able to spread these feelings to them too :)

i think im getting better..
i realised that i dun really dun like abigail anymore :))

pb series of 95 too :)

key lessons for today:
1. never count; dun even go and rmb wat were the shots you shot previously, u can allow urself to pick up a few previous cards to see the general direction of the shots if you think you have to sight the gun at times though.
2. dare to sight; even if sighting was done previously, if due to unknown reasons shots went a bit off center for a few times, do sight abit by one click. immediately click back when shots starts to go in the opposite direction.
3. solution for trigger problem:'dry tigger' before every shot, even during dry firing; lift up the gun only when you are sure you can accurately predict when the trigger will go off by doing dry firing on the table.
4. never give up on canceling your shots; no matter how many times you have to cancel your shot cause you couldn't trigger within your 'internal time limit for trigger', force down your gun immediately and never think that 'aiya, it'll alright de la.'
5. identify errors before disaster comes; when you realise that you have similar mistakes yet ending up with just 9s, do stop and dry fire till the error is solved. solve the error before you start hitting 8s/7s.
6. do not ever allow mistakes to happen; of course mistakes will happen, but when it is done, be more determined of not letting the same thing to happen again.
7. breath out hard to ease nervousness; breathing hard does help, only when u try to concentrate all the nervousness crammed in your heart to your lungs and channel them out through your nose (do it softly)

had my first experience as scorer
before that went to sch to help fiona for awhile
yepp den was kinda late for the only detail for ntt monthly
lol
it's only vanessa and me there...
we were dam bz
luckily mreddie helped to score the pistol cards
haha..
but the ntt pistol men (gai and poh in particular) are not helping lol
they camp like 30+ cards before spamming us with them
then poh left the remaining 30 on the table, den we tot we lost his cards or sth..
lol
had free lunch from hungyi and another person duno who
(actually they din treat us, just tt becuz they were penalised due to late registration or sth den we got $ to eat..hahaha)

went to relic tooth temple to take the silra ppl around in da morning
i took like 15min to find the place lol :(
the temple's weird, it has a basement carpark and the temple's 4 storeys height
and it has a taxi stand at the side oso
it's like...kinda commercialised lol

had lunch at a hk teahouse somewhere down the road
the lamian not so nice...
but the xlb and waotie (fried and steamed) quite nice
den jiawei they all praised them like it's sooo nice...muchh better than crystal jade and stuffs..haha...
had a lift to tpy where i took 3 buses to my tuition place -.-, cuz i refused to take mrt...haha....

met leonard, carol and qiaowei at yishun interchange
carol's dam pro...haven really enter nj alrdy start claiming $100 from mrlee liao
[she shoot 100 series today..lol..]
yea..and i heard nicole shot a 379 :D

thinking again...i nid to start hitting 370 from april onwards
den i will hit 4 times till july (nationals..tt is if im in)
and i can keep to the pact tt averill and i will get into ntt by the end of this yr.. :)

din noe bryan's so right about aqua standing a chance to win as champions
he did his 'calculations' quite nicely...
knowing that our house dun have much good runners, he predicted that the others will help to win as we have 2 bio classes=alot of gals, who have higher chances of hitting the 30min timing.
and he's so rite, not many aqua ppl got into top 10 (less than 5 i think?)
but we got first overall..haha...
it;s really surprising, we tot that maybe solaris/ignis will emerge champion when the 2nd and 3rd are announced

so proud of joannah, fell halfway through and still can be so determined to hit within 30min
though she had been like groaning and wanting to walk throughout..lol..
she actually has a strong mindwill and wants to achieve sth out of the run..but just tt she's kinda lazy so hindered her will abit..haha..

my hyperactiveness is forced to be kept dam low throughout today after the run
sitting down on a chair and listen to ppl speak is not my thing...
and i have to do this like 5 times today
mrlow started followed by yb
den when yb was 'scolding' us, mrlee came in..i suddenly tot: o shit, here comes third round.
and yea mrlee's next
den range cleanup and talk with yuyan
it's like an indication that yes, it's time tt we have to be more independent than ever, than any other senior batches, and ensure that the next batch will be more independent than us

got inspired to come up with a long term goal: is to be in the same 'team' with my coach fan, meaning going for the same competitions with her
got pwn her or get into 2012 anot it's a longer term goal..so not thinking too much now..haha..
and my time as nyt shooter is going to run out soon i guess..
either i improve and 'upgrade' into ntt, or i'll be consistent (badly said is stagnant la haha) and be kicked out of nyt :(

omg..i have finally..finally..done with uploading all the pics from chingay 08!
slide.com rocks eh...can hold like 200+ pics in a single slideshow
but uploading the pics is like hell eh..sometimes will tio dc den have to upload like 10 pics over again :(

basically chingay preview on last sat and actual chingay were really fun
esp on actual day, when after the show all of us ushers start running from city hall down the parade route, 'picking' other volunteers up on the way and cheered and screamed and whistled lots on the way
saw averill and coach fan and her daughter too
it's so funny, firstly i saw averill, said hi and shook her hand
den when i ran off lest i couldnt find my group, i saw fan's daughter's face looking dam shocked lidat...so i was thinking...'she looks familiar..'
haha...den suddenly fan's head popped out...den i realised the girl's fan's daughter..hahaha...
after all the highness and craziness..we stopped at some place near the padang
and tried the nj yaa.. cheer!
it;s not v successful though, cuz only like 10 ppl joined us?haha..
after that briefing and then off we go
susan, my dearr group leader, audrey and amanda, the cute anime/jap crazy and damn high till cannot stop gal respectively, and i had supper tgt at some makansutra food centre

yea these few days were quite bz too..
had tuition on sunday and met dorothy at sunplaza to pass her back her hp book
went to buy an ice cream cake from the icecream restaurant upstairs to give as a belated birthday present..haha...

mon was chem makeup pract
most observations and results went really wrong...
there was one that i noted down like 3 colour changes when i add only 1 reagent in
lol...
gp test next
did it in the range LOl
din finish it ..got distracted of cuz..hahaa
stayed and had dinner at prince..wa so not worth it

tues went training
oya before that was the pistol exco meeting with mr lee
cuz jiani and jitsheng both has to appeal
den muz rank priority..lol
and..both got in the the end
including akshay of cuz
haha congrats..!
after that yea off to training
2 weeks plus of not training resulted in aching arm and lousy triggering
lol
just hope that i can recover by next wed
hahaha..

wed was dam chaotic
mrlee suddenly called for meeting, so couldnt make it for interact gm
he yada-ed abit, telling us that when we recommend ppl in future we must be aware of whether he/she can make it or not, otherwise we'll ruin our own reputation and will kinda harm the chances of the ppl we have to recommend in future cuz the reputation is alrdy ruined..which is sth he emphasised by stating kinda lots of eg..haha...

after that i went out to take a look at the probation gals shoot..gen and i had interview with them, den it was den mrlee 'blew up' again, upon knowing that quite a no of excos cmi for bonding camp~

woah, i muz admit i din take bonding camp of such significance..cuz ai's bonding is like u wan come den come, got good reason den ok no nid to come...and yea how mrlee judges commitment as...
or should i say..i have never felt myself to have of so much importance before...haha..
firstly the fact that gen and i have to choose which j1 to take in is alrdy kinda hard for me to take, cuz im always the one whom other ppl will decide to choose or not (lol)
i wonder how'll be like when selecting ppl for nationals..i'll be like...i oso duno how to say..

~yea then after he left the range, yb sort of like had another meeting with us again
telling us how he felt and so on
and that we were have to postpone the camp to end of march
tried to fill up with the empty slits that were left empty for months

played basketball for awhile [just to get out of the range for a moment]

den had dinner with an emo and stoney gen, junyang and zhirong
well..thx zr for trying not to interfere with capt and v.capt stuffs..cuz he's like v experience but we do have to realise tt we have to stand up on our own and start doing things at a more efficient rate :)

today(thursday) had multiple meetings
first with mrlee at a noisy lt5, he just asked direct qns regarding mentality during comp and i must admit he's really a person who noes wat to say to make ppl feel good (for me in this case)
he can kinda like turned my negative tots bout myself into positive stuffs in such a convincing and logical way..lol....

den it's a second meeting with yb to settle ntuis logistics, training and some other stuffs i kinda forgot..as abel has nicely recorded, we had exactly 100 days to fulfill wat we have to do as leaders of the club...exco 07-08 jiayou! :))

njcis committee meeting next..din discuss much..
just comfirmed and set some stuffs

oya, before everything i sorta like witnessed a 'quarrel'
to be specific it's a person almost screaming and the other trying to rebuttal calmly
it's not really of my concern, but i got abit 'wth?!' when peixin just left, slamming the door.
well so wat if she lost, the door din offend her can?
lol

and after everything, we met lee and he had the weird(and pervy?) idea to challenge abel and junyang
well..just nice when junyang likes challenges...he has it for ntuis..lol
but it's abit too...extreme?hahaha..joe and gen and i were like laughing throughout the whole convo..

met bryan on the bus and chatted
i was invited to the prospective that for performing arts, they do have mental problems and stuffs during their major comp (ie syf-s)
i always tot when they practice well, they would be able to perform well easily too
and he kinda like compared the pressure btwn sports and arts is tt sports is more of endurance and physical ability that'll affect performance whereas it's more of mental for arts, though i beg to differ (for shooting esp..haha..and oso basketball too..lol..)

my first valentine of my life

even ms wong said that today the lecture hall she lectured is filled with many florists
haha lol...
got a reasonable amt of sweets and choco
a rose from my chingay gic and dic :)
towel that is folded into a shortcake by lizhen my secret valentine
a bookmark that says: 'i am loved by nisha'
though i've no lover but im feeling loved

has magic tricks like the floating tissue paper and the flower magic
hahaha
and he gave me 3 rochers when ppl usually give 1
nice nice ;)

for the past few days at my gp's house in malacca
ive been doing homework, slacking, sleeping and playing cousin;s psp
hahaha...though there are times that are really sian...like sitting in the living having nothing to do.

passed bm today, though i totally dun deserve it
the tester din state how long i take to complete my first item, which has to be completed in 3min15s
and just like...passed all my items
really feel like taking a retest..but cuz it pays to have another one, i gave up on the idea [i owe my coach $250 alrdy - wonder how i win gambling during cny haha]

econ test's...i duno how to say
i tyco-ly read the outlines for a qn closely related to the test before it but din pay alot of attention reading it...
den tikam tikam lol haha

not shooting for this sun's monthly
slacked too much haha
but now with lifesaving over...i think i m finally able to devote more time onto shooting again :DD

gonna spend my v.day with mr g.lee i think
i 'jio-ed' him but he has yet to reply...
hahas
and zr says if there r less than 5 ppl staying for dinner tmr he's gonna treat them!
haha...to continue wat g.lee had been doing...and since he has a gf alrdy, it's not possible for him to continue treating his students to dinner...lol...

so long...haha..

im finally free
been dam busy for 2 whole weeks
and had 2 tests too
passed chem though..both of them haha
but math is sure fail..i think...cuz i only studied integration (which i din do in the end..lol)

just some events to mention:
talentime 08;
meant to support andy and his band only..but saw more ppl i know..haha..

it's wei shuen...im surprised by the fact tt he plays drum...haha...

andy! with base guitar..
his strap broke halfway and he has to hop on one foot to use his the other leg to support the guitar and the crowd applauded him for tt..haha..

the huats..lol..
vocal band made up of a group of soccer boys
marcus is playing the dark brown guitar
they made of think of the ben, jasongoh, jj and alextay
a bunch of soccer-playing boys who likes to sing too
and maybe bobo and pc as well...haha..

overall the concert's quite good
just tt i dun like the part whereby every soloist have to sing this song that is composed by the ip2 ppl
not tt the song is not nice..just that there r bout 5 soloists n so u have to hear the same song for 5 times..lol

sat was hiong
went to score for internals in the morning
gave me a shock in the morning on the bus when i woke up halfway and saw daxiang on it too

with abel helping to continue with the scoring, left sch to rjc to attend the training session for chingay
after tt had ljs on the bus with joannah on the way to alan's house for metropolitan leo meeting
lol
meeting was kinda short
or i missed alot...haha...
den played bridge and alan's wii
quite fun ba...
the running game is like u have to hold 2 consoles and shake them up and down quickly to run
the shooting game is shotgun, use the console as the gun and point at screen to shoot
table tennis one quite interesting oso..though i cant win the com...lol..
watched alan and xinkai playing boxing game
both of them were so violent and funny..thrashing the consoles forward towards the screen like they want to kill each other lidat...
and xinkai felt her arms sore after the game...lol..

there's only mon and tue this week for lessons..shiok haha
the house performance today is weird..esp aqua's
disappointed..haha..
performance in the hall not bad though
but pity cannot hear ailin sing at lt5..heard tt she won second..
nice one gal though i tot u wouldve gotten first :D

did some big clean up at home and gonna prepare reunion dinner soon
steamboat! heh heh... hungry now though i just ate pasta at pasta mania and had a drink at coffee bean with joannah after the performance..lol...

off to msia tmr till hopefully sun
if it's mon instead..think i'll be murdered by ms.heng..
haha..
