there's nothing to lose; but we must strive for excellence nevertheless.
this is v similar to wat mark has been discussing bout with a few days ago
he was trying to make me understand the thing bout mr.g.lee telling me to aim high for my scores [which i cant believe in] sometime before nationals.

he said one has to aim high, try hard n if u really din attain it, u wun regret cuz u have tried ur v best.
a few hours later tt day, when i was bout to accept wat he was trying to say, i suddenly tot of this: he gave up during his last series during monthly shoot, resulting in a 70+ series.
fag, so much for the advice. so true yet he cant live up to it.
well i guess i have to be more understanding to his feelings then n tt i cant just jump into conclusions.

only after today, i realise wat was missing in mark's words.
yea, his words mentioned bout striving for excellence, but the nth to lose part is missing.
he put it in the way tt since my standards is stagnant n hard to drop, i shouldnt be afraid of losing. [which is kinda different from wat mr.r.heah meant]

n yea...mr.r.heah oso made me realise sth else
i was talking to him bout the internals monthly thing
bout needing new cards n stuffs
so he was going on with e 'no nid a vernier caliper just to measure the width of a door when a measuring tape will do'
n 'y nid to buy an lp10 when our standards dun require such good pistol'
ok...so y nid new cards when the purpose of the shoot is just to keep track of their standards?
i can always get new ones when the nid to really stimulate a real competition where precision is really necessary [near nationals period]
n there's sth bout the peak of a person's performance in a period of time.
he advised me to consult the pe tchers regarding this matter n yea...i hope it'll be really helpful in helping the shooters perform at their peak during nationals :)

i guess, everyone wans a person who he/she likes and can really love.
but also a person who can understand and gives his/her alot of time without being together (aka freedom time..lol)
